Known for their ability to easily maneuver in and around confined areas, cushion tire lift trucks are the staple material handler in most warehousing and manufacturing environments.

At Taylor, we have raised the bar to new heights with our diesel and propane powered XC and THC Series Cushion Tire Trucks. Our machines feature unmatched lifting capabilities combined with easy serviceability and our world renowned durability. With a capacity range of 8-23 tons, these trucks are the right choice for serious material handling operations on smooth warehouse and manufacturing floors.

Available in both a fork or coil ram configuration, foundry and steel mill lifting challenges are no challenge at all for the Taylor Machine Works XC and THC Series Cushion Tire Lift Trucks.

Our uniquely designed low height XC-180SL, XC-200SL, XC-220SL, XC-250ML, and XC-300ML models incorporate an 88-in (2235mm) height profile, an 8t-14t ton lifting capacity, and standard free lift masts which enable the forks to raise without raising the mast. These combined features make the low height XC model trucks ideally suited to easily load and unload shipping containers.

Mast Assembly – All models except the THC-500L feature a 2-stage telescopic mast. For complete control over our manufacturing process of this critical component, our masts are designed, engineered, and manufactured by our team at a dedicated facility in Louisville, Mississippi. We utilize the same engineering programs as Boeing to perform critical stress analysis functions affording us a unique look at how different loads in varying positions can affect the structure of all components and frame. With this data, adjustments to design are made in our engineering lab long before a component is built and shipped.

Steer Axles – This is one component that inherently takes a lot of abuse, especially when the truck is operated without a load. Therefore, we set out to design, engineer, and manufacture our own steer axles in order to control the highest quality and to ensure a durability and longevity that you have come to expect from all Taylor Machine Works products.

Carriage and Forks – All XC and THC Series Cushion Tire Lift Trucks feature a C-type carriage assembly with 53-in (1346mm) fork spread and available side shift. For reduced maintenance we incorporate tapered roller bearings for the carriage main rollers and adjustable side bearings. The forks are hammer forged from heat treated steel, pin-mounted, and fully adjustable.

Engines – When it comes to engine choices we at Taylor Machine Works refuse to compromise on performance or durability in order to achieve questionable fuel savings. We offer our XC and THC Series Lift Trucks with large displacement engine packages with proven low end torque necessary to meet your heavy lifting demands. All models are available in either diesel or propane power choices.

Built to Last 1 Million Cycles – Like all Taylor products our cushion tire lift trucks are designed to work in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. Therefore, in order to maintain the ultimate in durability and longevity, we use only high yield T-1 steel throughout each truck, horizontal / full penetration welding techniques, and heavy duty components all working together to meet the 1 Million Cycle requirement.
